At Dimitra srl, we are committed to the quality of our fruit. This is achieved through careful harvesting by experienced agronomists and the appropriate selection of the ripening stage. The freshness of the kiwifruit is carefully maintained by Dimitra srl in ideal conditions, so that you can always enjoy high quality kiwifruit.
The production of kiwifruit is mainly focused on the Hayward variety, with the largest percentage coming from the regions of Pella, Imathia, Pieria and Kavala, while we also cooperate with local producers in Italy for the cultivation of high quality varieties.
The production and storage process of the kiwifruit follows high quality standards. They are handled and stored in Dimitra srl’s modern, privately-owned refrigerated chambers, and are transported from production to packaging in specially-equipped refrigerated lorries.

Tips
Kiwifruit is an excellent source of vitamin C, antioxidants and dietary fibre. When stored in the refrigerator, ripe kiwis can last for about 4 weeks. You can place them in a bag, preferably paper, with an apple or banana for a day or two to allow them to ripen. Kiwis are not only nutritious, but also delicious. You can enjoy them in many different ways, such as slicing them for salads, making smoothies, or just eating them as a healthy snack.
