At Dimitra srl, we produce our apricots in Imathia and Halkidiki. The right moment of harvesting is very important, because apricots must be ripe to have the best taste and aroma. In fact, we pick them all by hand to avoid the risk of injury.

We carefully select and pack the apricots so that they are always delicious and fresh. We send them all over Greece and abroad, and for their transportation we use special crates that do not break or spoil them.

Tips

Choose apricots that are firm and have a uniform colour. Avoid those that are bruised or too hard. Store apricots in the refrigerator if you want to preserve them for longer. To ripen, leave them at room temperature. For long-term storage, you can freeze apricots cut in half and remove the pit.

They contain vitamins A, C, and E, as well as minerals such as iron and potassium. The vitamin A and carotenoids found in apricots help maintain good vision. They aid digestion and can prevent issues like constipation. Their vitamins and antioxidants contribute to strengthening and protecting the skin. The potassium they contain helps maintain heart health.
